The Albany County Department of Health, with assistance from the Albany County Sheriff’s Department, will be administering FREE Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines (1st and 2nd doses for those 12+ years old; 3rd doses and Booster shots for those meeting eligibility criteria) on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon at BKW Jr./Sr. High School. Public health experts will be on hand to answer any vaccination questions and address any concerns related to vaccination.
Please note that the Pfizer 1st and 2nd doses are approved for all individuals 12+ years old.
· All persons aged 12+ years old are eligible to receive the vaccine. A signed NYS COVID-19 immunization Screening and Consent Form is required by all those under 18.
· All persons 15 and under will be required to attend the clinic with a parent or guardian.
· NO insurance, social security number or medical paperwork needed.
· NO fee or cost for the vaccine – it is FREE.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is a two-part vaccine. Individuals receiving the vaccine on October 16, 2021, will be scheduled for a 2nd dose on November 6, 2021. Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine booster shots have recently been approved for all individuals meeting specific criteria.
